200th Anniversary of Mendel
A special exhibition will be held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mendel's birth. ”Mendel, who is known for his "laws of inheritance," was born on July 20, 1822 in Heinzendorf, near Odlau in the Austrian Empire, now in Hynčice, Czech Moravia. This year marks the 200th anniversary of his birth. Although it is a corona disaster, various events will be held all over the world. The Japan Mendel Association will hold a special exhibition "200th Anniversary of Mendel's Birth" at the Suwako Museum. In addition to exhibiting Mendelian commemorative items and books, we are also planning lectures and gallery talks by experts. Please stay tuned.
